How to form the letter E
Capital E is a line down with three bars going right: top, middle, bottom. Lowercase e starts with a short line across the middle, then curves up, over and around.
What to watch for
Lowercase e is often drawn as a backwards 3. The little bar comes first.
Words to say while tracing
Saying a word that starts with the shape, while the pencil is moving, links the letter to a sound instead of leaving it an abstract squiggle. Try egg, elephant and engine.
